Thus, it makes sense that honor establishes itself in Malaysia as the first overseas market outside of China.
Evolution of the honor N series
The N series from honor aims to push innovative features while breaking the mould with fresh designs. An integration between technology, artistry, and economy lies at the heart of the design.
Let’s start with the honor 8 utilises a glass finishing with 15 shiny layers on the back. The double-glass, aluminium-edged body with an aurora-esque sheen gives a vivid colour while still being resistant to force.
With the honor 9, it takes a step further by improving design and specifications. The smartphone comes in the Glacier Grey colour, inspired by the blue ice found in the Arctic regions. Additionally, honor 9 makes use of smooth edges and a 3D curved glass back to cater to the young demographic.
The latest honor 10 targets consumers who prefer bold colours and aesthetics. An intentional quirk of manufacturing creates a lenticular effect in the rear glass panel. Furthermore, the reflective effect synonymous with honor phones is redefined, with one of the honor 10’s colours offering an added gradient paint effect.
Greater attention to colour
The theme of honor 10 is a a larger emphasis on colours. Huawei holds colour range as increasingly important and wants its devices’ colours to have a larger bearing on users’ personalities.
As such, the honor 10 boasts a varying vertical gradient on its reflective finishing. The result is a body which continues to change colours as its angle is changed. honor mentions the Northern Lights as a key inspiration for this design.
