Qualcomm Introduces Snapdragon X2 AI PCs Across Malaysian Retailers

Qualcomm has introduced its new Snapdragon X2 Series powered AI PCs in Malaysia, expanding its push into AI-enabled Windows computing with stronger performance, improved gaming support and enhanced on-device AI capabilities.

The company said the Snapdragon X2 Series builds on its Snapdragon X platform by offering improved responsiveness, battery efficiency and mobility in thin and lightweight devices aimed at students, professionals and creators.

According to Qualcomm, the latest Snapdragon AI PCs are designed to support increasingly AI-driven workflows, including multitasking across collaboration tools, creative applications, streaming and communication platforms without heavy dependence on charging.

The Snapdragon X2 Series also adds broader gaming optimisation and compatibility across modern PC gaming experiences, alongside dedicated neural processing unit capabilities for on-device AI functions.

Alicia Lim, Head of Sales and Marketing Southeast Asia at Qualcomm Technologies, said users were increasingly prioritising real-world performance such as battery life, portability and AI capabilities rather than specifications alone.

The Snapdragon X Series and Snapdragon X2 Series powered devices are currently available in Malaysia across multiple price points and form factors from brands including ASUS, Lenovo, Acer, HP and Microsoft.

New models arriving in Malaysia with Snapdragon X2 Series processors include the ASUS Zenbook A16, Lenovo IdeaPad 5 2-in-1 and Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x.

Consumers can purchase the devices through retailers including Harvey Norman Malaysia, Thunder Match Technology and PC Image.
