Apple’s latest Mac mini and Mac Studio are now available in Malaysia, with prices starting at RM3,799 for the Mac mini and RM10,999 for the Mac Studio.

The new Mac mini comes with Apple’s M6 or M5 Pro chip, while the Mac Studio is offered with M5 Max or M5 Ultra. Both desktops are available through Apple Store locations, Apple’s online store and the Apple Store app.

The Mac mini with M6 starts at RM3,799, while the M5 Pro model starts at RM7,499. For students and educators, prices start at RM3,399 and RM7,099 respectively.

Apple said the M6-powered Mac mini delivers up to four times faster AI performance, twice the graphics and storage performance and 40% faster CPU performance compared with the previous-generation Mac mini with M4.

The Mac mini starts with 16GB of unified memory and can be configured with up to 32GB. The M5 Pro version supports up to 64GB of unified memory, alongside up to an 18-core CPU and 20-core GPU.

Meanwhile, the Mac Studio with M5 Max starts at RM10,999 while the M5 Ultra model starts at RM24,999. Education pricing starts at RM10,099 and RM23,199 respectively.

The M5 Max version supports up to 128GB of unified memory, while the M5 Ultra model can be configured with up to 512GB and up to an 80-core GPU.

Apple said the new Mac Studio can support up to eight displays, while its Thunderbolt 5 connectivity supports transfer speeds of up to 120Gb/s.

Both desktops also feature Neural Accelerators in every GPU core and are designed to support on-device AI workloads.

The new Macs run on macOS 27, which includes updates to performance, search and the Liquid Glass interface.

Apple said the new desktops are also available through Apple Authorised Resellers, with the Mac Studio configuration featuring 512GB of unified memory scheduled to arrive in late October.

Customers can also trade in existing computers for credit towards a new Mac and access configure-to-order options covering memory, storage and other specifications.
