Remember when we were teased with a glorious new trailer for the FFVII reboot? Well, Square Enix have finally confirmed that the long awaited spectacular reimagining of one of the most visionary games ever, Final Fantasy VII, will be available from the 3rd of March 2020 onwards for Playstation 4 systems, with digital pre-order already available on the PS4 platform.
The best part is? The game is going to be made available in Malaysia.
Square Enix dropped a brand new trailer for the game at their E3 conference yesterday and this time, we finally get a closer look at the updated battle system, on top of being graced by appearances by fan favourites such as Tifa and probably one of the best FF villains ever, Sephiroth. Yes yes, I know the new button mashing hybrid real time battle system isn’t for everyone, but I for one am just glad that the game FINALLY has a release date. You can check out the trailer below.
Rebuilding and expanding upon the legendary RPG for today, the Final Fantasy VII remake tells the story of a world fallen under the control of the Shinra Electric Power Company, a shadowy corporation controlling the planet’s very life force as mako energy. In the sprawling city of Midgar, an anti-Shinra organization calling themselves Avalanche have stepped up their resistance. Cloud Strife, a former member of Shinra’s elite SOLDIER unit now turned mercenary, lends his aid to the group, unaware of the epic consequences that await him.
