Homegrown e-wallet Boost is encouraging Malaysians to spend their RM50 ePENJANA credit by 30 September 2020, 11.59PM as it will be the last day to spend it. Any unused balance will expire and be removed from the user’s e-wallet after the given date.
As an added incentive, the e-wallet provider will #KasiTambah more savings with its ‘Rakyat Cashback’ when users spend their ePENJANA credit with Boost. Even if a user is not eligible to claim the RM50 ePENJANA credit, the user can still enjoy all ‘Rakyat Cashback’ perks until 30 September.
Through ‘Rakyat Cashback’, notable brands across groceries, health and beauty, F&B, telco, bill payments and micro-insurance categories have partnered with Boost to give Malaysians additional cashback worth more than RM100 via its ‘Partner Wallet’ feature.
A ‘Partner Wallet’ is a sub-wallet within a user’s Boost account that automatically stores cashback for individual merchants. Each user can have multiple Partner Wallets for various merchants. This helps ensure users don’t miss any savings and is especially useful for when users shop at their favourite or go-to places.
Any cashback a user has in a Partner Wallet will be automatically deducted in the next transaction made at the respective merchant. For example, if a user has RM5 in a Partner Wallet, on the user’s next visit shopping at the same merchant, the RM5 will be automatically deducted from the total amount when paying with Boost. Users can access their Partner Wallets from the Homepage or under ‘My Rewards’ in the Profile page.
Participating nationwide merchants for the Partner Wallet rewards include Great Eastern micro-insurance products powered by Aspirasi, Kenny Rogers Roasters, Secret Recipe, Mydin, Tealive, Setel, OLDTOWN White Coffee, Watsons, Bata, Petron, Sushi King, KK Super Mart, Tesco, Giant and many more.
Also included are Boost partners Sunshine Wholesale Mart in Penang; CKS Supermarket, Bataras Hypermarket and Sunlight Pharmacy in Sabah; as well as SHiNE pharmacy and LEA group stores in Sarawak.
Apart from ePENJANA, Boost is also an official partner of two other Government PENJANA initiatives – MSME E-Commerce Campaign and PENJANA Shop Malaysia Online –implemented through Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC).
