They are here, they are colourful and they have great cameras. Who are we talking about? Its the dynamic duo of Xperia M5 Dual and C5 Ultra Dual, Sony Mobiles latest addition to the burgeoning family of devices launched by the company in subsequent months. The Xperia M4 came out in July and already has a successor with the Xperia M5 Dual, radically this as just as waterproof as the earlier model rated IP65/68 which protects against water and fine dust.

Waterproof Wonder

Users of the M5 Dual need not cover the ports when submerging the phone in shallow waters or if you get dirt on it-you can literally wash it, OCD or germaphobics- can even clean it with soap, mothers have their babies licking the phone- dont worry the M5 is for you, you can just rinse of the saliva without any damage to the phone. The Xperia M5 Dual packs quite a punch when it comes to features, the 21.5 megapixel Hybrid Autofocus, 5X Clear Image Zoom offers exceptional picture quality and even takes videos in 4K resolution. Another aspect worth noting is the phase detection AF for quick response at 0.25s and contrast detection AF for added precision, giving taking moving objects less of an hindrance and avoid blurs.

C5 Ultra Dual For the Selfie Fanatic

Sony’s selfie interest goes way back to when they first came out with C series in 2013 with an 8mp camera then, now the newly launched Xperia C5 Ultra Dual sports a 13 megapixel shooter both front and back with LED Selfie Flash. The ProSelfie smartphone captures images in 1080p high definition, with wide angle and Superior Shot feature giving a perfect shot anytime. Despite the 6 inch real estate, the C5 Ultra Dual feels easy on the palm and reaching out to the camera button was easy. The phone is light and slim weighing in at only 187grams.

Price availability and promotions

Sony has made the availability of the Xperia C5 Ultra Dual starting next week that will come in Black, White and Mint (not to my liking) priced at RM1399 as for the Xperia M5 Dual the phone will reach here 2 weeks from now with a price tag listed at RM1599 and will available in Black, White, Gold. The company has also tied with Line and 11th Street for special deals including a contest on Line to win  a new Xperia C5 Ultra Dual and a brand new M5 Dual, details can be found on Sony Mobile My Sony Malaysia Lines official account.

Fans can also preorder the phones on 11th Street beginning 17th August until 31st August with the first 200 customer will receive complimentary gifts worth more than RM250 each. There is even a facebook contest on the online retail site with a C5 Ultra Dual being given away as a top prize and other consolation prizes.
