Sony Mobile Malaysia has officially announced the date for the launch of the Xperia C5 Ultra Dual and M5 Dual, the event will take place next week on the 25th, somewhere in KL.

Local blog sites have already been posting information on the impending launch of the latest  models from Sony, not long- in fact it was just July we saw the C4 make its debut together with M4, and now the Xperia C5 Ultra a 6-inch dynamite with 13 megapixel camera both front and back is coming to town. In the heart of the proclaimed selfie phone central processing unit sits a MediaTek 1.7Ghz 64bit Octa-Core processor and has 2GB RAM and 16GB memory.

As for M5, the waterproof (IP 65 and IP68 for dust) phone comes in at 5 inches full HD display and uses MediaTek Helio X10 a 64Ghz Octa-Core processor to chug its engines. More memory than the C5 with 3GB RAM and 16GB flash memory. While the C5 records in 1080p the M5 Dual is able to record videos in 4K, this is due to a super high 21.5 megapixel Exmor RS with Hybrid AF camera that also gives you five times image zoom clarity and a 13Mp for the rear.

Both phones run on Android 5.0 Lollipop and support these networks: Category 4 4G LTE, GSM, GPRS, EDGE and UMTS HSPA. More information on the launch date like available colours, pricing and special deals. Stay tuned.
