A 23 megapixel Exmor RS sensor camera, a super fast 0.1 second hybrid 192 Pavazoni PDAF Autofocus with F1.8 aperture setting are all some of the rumours conjuring up for Sony’s Xperia Z5 launch. Sony has already posted this teaser on their official facebook page, the date is just a couple of days before IFA, the favourite hunting ground for the Japanese phone makers events. A launch is imminent.
Other information retrieved from a Sony Georgia facebook page,(ironic as it may seem having leaks coming from Sony’s channels but have now declared the site as unofficial and that it does not belong to them) states the 5.5″ inch device could be the worlds first smartphone designed with 4K display. Two additional models will also be unveiled with 4.6″ HD and 5-inch Full HD display, the 4K is said to have a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels, with a pixel density of over 800 pixels per inch, the page revealed.
Battery life is pumped up with 4500mAH unit including wireless charging, other bells and whistles include a site fitted finger scanner which will all be powered by the reliable Qualcomm 3.2 Ghz Octa Core 64 processor. There has been no mention on any of the popular news sites if the Xperia Z5 will see daylight with Android 6.0 Marshmallow or will it be still on Lollipop. Internal storage is said to 128 GB, but whether there will micro SD slots is another matter we are curious to know, Apple and Samsung have all opted not to have additional storage slots leaving some loyal users distraught.
Sony Mobile has remained steadfast on its focus expect solid features that has been the mainstay from the company, great camera, waterproof and dustproof, slim, amazing display and just being one heck of phone. Testament to launches last week includes the 6″ Xperia C5 Ultra Dual and the M5 Dual, taking cue from the flagship Z series.
These are still rumours and unofficial leaks, come Tuesday the world will know what Sony has installed, with renewed pizazz and an overhauled business model, there is more from where this is coming from.
