Gfk’s latest survey proofs that most consumers tend to gravitate to stylish looking designed tech products than those that skipped the Lagerfeld touch. On that same note here comes a new mobile phone brand that focuses on design as well as function for its smartphones that target the mid-range market.

Ladies and gentleman meet Obi WorldPhone, the latest addition to the expanding smartphone market. Born in Silicon Valley, Obi WorldPhone is actually the brainchild of former Apple John Sculley and Ammunition design founder Robert Brunner, who’s main angle for the phones are design and style. The SF1 and the SJ1.5 are two models currently being rolled out by the company, the phones are targeted at younger audience who prefer lower priced devices but still pack the features of premium models.
