Razer Phone 2 Receives Telco Deal

While Huawei continues to fight a losing battle getting its mobile phones accepted by US regulators, Razer from Singapore in its first foray as a smartphone brand has received the seal of approval from AT&T for nationwide distribution.

The Razer Phone 2 is the first smartphone that sports 120hz framerate built with the sole purpose of providing silky smooth gaming experience and has a built-in cooling system to prevent overheating after long hours of gaming. Distribution of the device will give Razer a lead in the ever expanding universe of mobile gaming that could potentially rival the billion dollar PC gaming industry.

Michael Breslin, Razer Mobile’s Global Head of Sales & Marketing, said: “We at Razer are honored to begin a strategic collaboration with AT&T to grow the mobile esports and gaming market with the flagship power of the Razer Phone 2.”

The Razer Phone 2 has been optimised for the hottest mobile titles like “PlayerUnknown Battlegrounds Mobile (PUBG Mobile),” “Rival Crimson x Chaos,” “Marvel Future Fight,” “Guns of Boom,” “RuneScape” and more. It is also the only phone officially certified by Netflix for HDR (high dynamic range) video content and Dolby Surround 5.1 audio content.
