Huawei’s P40 series is so close to launch, with it being scheduled for next week. They couldn’t help but tease us some more, by releasing another video teaser of their latest flagship devices:

Huawei posted the video to Weibo, which gives us a very vague idea of what the phone looks like. In the clip, you can see the camera bump, curved screen, and a side-button which could be the volume rocker or power button. There really isn’t much official details, but it’s to be expected.

In other news, Evan Blass, notorious leaker posted a ‘leaked’ image on Twitter, showing all the different colour variants the P40 will be available in:

From the image, we can see that it’s likely three different models of the P40, with different amounts of cameras included. The first model shows three cameras, the second shows four, and the third model seems to house five cameras. It’s inline with what we’ve seen thus far about the P40 series, so it isn’t all to surprising. This would probably be the Huawei P40, P40 Pro, and P40 Pro Premium Edition.

Rumours also suggest that the P40 will feature a Kirin 990 chipset, with not much other information besides speculation on the camera setup. Keep in mind though, these devices probably still won’t have Google, which makes it ever less so enticing, even with impressive hardware. Though I might be wrong considering the Mate 30’s lack of Google, and their 12 million unit sales.

Still, I would not recommend an average consumer to get a phone without Google. Just don’t do it.
