Just awhile back, there were reports that Huawei had passed a 7 million sales mark with their Mate 30 lineup. By now, according to a new report from Chinese news agency Sina, the figure has increased with a significant jump to 12 million units.
If those numbers are accurate, that’s a massive spike in just the past month. Considering that the handset isn’t as widely available outside of China, and a mix of missing Google’s Mobile Services, it’s hard to believe. Guess Christmas was a good time for Huawei this year.
Their next goal would be to top the 20 million shipments mark, and they way they’re going right now, it’s possible. But I mean, who is out here buying these phones? The problem is that we don’t have numbers to indicate whether the majority of these sales are in China itself. Because if so, it makes total sense.
They didn’t use Google anyway.
