With this Bloody TL8A Terminator, there is no “I’ll be back!” for your opponents.
Within the space of a month, I’ve done both the TL5A and TL6A. The one thing I’ve never managed to test it when I used them is engaging the Ultra Core 3 mouse driver settings because it’s stuck behind a pay wall. So when I received the TL8A for reviewing, the first thing I noticed is that the mouse comes bundled with that particular feature. Now the question becomes, does it deliver the goods?
Why Hello Again
Before getting into the whole Ultra Core 3 thing, let’s talk about the mouse. The TL8A seems to follow the TL5A’s design with the weird gaps in between sans the metal feet. Performance-wise, it has the exact same specifications as the TL5A and the TL6A. The only thing that I felt is different is how smooth the mouse is, although you could say that I didn’t hold back as the metal feet are absent.
Core Difference
So how does the Ultra Core 3 improve gameplay performance? The answer I can give you is – ‘it really depends’. For games like Quake and Unreal Tournament, it’s usable because the guns don’t really have much (if any) recoil. Modern day military shooters, meanwhile, will only need you to compensate the changes yourself when required. After giving this a go, this would be the one I’d get solely because I don’t have to worry about scratching my workspace. The gimmick is too situational for my liking so I’d rather do without even if it does improve the smooth usability Bloody is known for.
