On 10 April 2020, a new visual and trailer will be released, with AbemaTV hosting the infomercial.
The information will be released in Japan at 10.30 PM local time, so that means it’ll be at 9.30 PM (GMT+8) for us here.
New details were initially expected to drop last weekend. It isn’t made clear why it wasn’t revealed then, so fans will have to wait for it on 10 April.
A teaser for the movie was first released in September in the anime’s last episode. A full trailer was later released in October 2019.

The movie is expected to drop sometime during summer or fall this year, though that depends on the whole pandemic situation.
If worse comes to worst, maybe Ufotable should consider releasing the movie digitally? Fans of the anime could enjoy it from the comfort of their homes, though I guess it’s too early to tell.
Demon Slayer was first released in April 2019 and earned praise for its storytelling and animation. Since its anime’s release, popularity for its manga exploded and recently hit 40 million copies in print.
According to a listing by Oricon, Demon Slayer managed to claim all spots in the Top 10 manga chart for the week of 27 January to 2 February.
Apart from its movie, Demon Slayer also recently announced two upcoming games for PS4 and mobile. Both games have a release date in 2021 and later this year, respectively.
