Huawei’s P40 series of devices launch is imminent, with the scheduled date being 26th March 2020. Leading up to the devices’s launch, we’ve now got a look at some pictures, supposedly taken on a device in the P40 family. Which device it is, is unclear, and considering the P40 series will feature a based model P40, P40 Pro, and P40 Premium, we’re not really sure which it is.

But, there are some clues to that mystery. Check out some of the pics from prominent Weibo leaker, Digital chat station, who provided six sample photographs:

Pretty stunning images right? The level of detail, the colours, and how vibrant the pictures are really stand out. Not to mention the picture of the dog! Look at those individual hairs. But that in turn, can be a defining tool for us to expect which phone this is.

Digital chat station also provided an update to his post, where he said that the photo of the dog was taken with a 10x zoom, cropped, and uploaded again. This in turn means we are most likely looking at the samples from the P40 Premium, considering that’s Huawei’s most powerful out of the three lineups and that level of detail is hard to replicate in just any device.

But man, seriously, those are some crisp shots. If the leaker is to be believed (which I do), the P40 series is packing some heat in the camera department. Sadly though, these devices will probably still be plagued by the U.S government’s restrictions and bans, so they’ll probably not have Google. Something that really can be a deciding factor for many a consumer.
