Fashion brand, Coach has collaborated with the estate of artist, Richard Bernstein, combining its bold New York attitude with his unique work of pop art and portraiture and the collection is now available in Coach Malaysia stores.
Each article of clothing featuring a graphic portrait of a beloved icon re-imagines the past while weaving the dynamic vibes that makes up the city.
Featuring a graphic of Bernstein’s 1969 portrait of beloved icon Barbra Streisand following her film
debut in Funny Girl. His use of airbrush and dazzling glitter creates a larger-than-life figure.

The collection will feature Bernstein’s iconic portraits of Barbra Streisand, Michael J. Fox, Rob Lowe and Jello Hearts on Coach’s tees and bags. The Michael J.Fox and Barbra Streisand sweatshirts are currently for sale at RM 900 respectively while the Barbra Streisand turnlock shoulder bag is on sale for RM 2,500. Meanwhile the pink Jello Heart t-shirt is on sale for RM 490.
Featuring a graphic of Bernstein’s mesmerizing 1988 portrait of actor Michael J. Fox celebrating his dramatic role in the film Bright Lights, Big City. Using pastels to create an ethereal glow, it was created from a Philip Dixon photograph.

Known for his distinctive illustrated covers of Andy Warhol’s Interview Magazine, Bernstein chronicled the social, fashion and art crowd and his work has been featured in museums around the world today.
Featuring a graphic of Bernstein’s 1969 Jello Heart dessert mold, part of a series painted in homage to his mother and a commentary on the delicacy of love. The colourful heart symbolises compassion, loyalty and love, whereas the black one evokes a powerful elegance.
