The DR-S150 connects both wired and wirelessly to the network, as well as via USB connections to a desktop computer to give users usage flexibility of the document scanner from almost anywhere in the office. Users are also able to scan documents to shared network folders on-the-go from smartphones and tablets.
The on-board image processing CPU also known as DR Processor delivers high-speed, high quality scans up to 90 images per minute, not dependent on the performance of connected computers. The scanner also includes Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology in the transformation of scanned images into searchable data, helping to apprehend information accurately and refine text legibility.
The DR-S150 makes high-volume batch scanning of mixed document types with a robust paper feeding mechanism and separation rollers. The scanner performs with an intuitive interface that provides users with simple scanning operation with a large colour LCD touchscreen.
It also helps businesses broaden the scope of document capture and output capabilities when used with automatic scanning software, the CaptureOnTouch V4 where users can convert scanned documents to searchable files, manage information and send the scanned one to an array of cloud-enabled services.
The CaptureOnTouch Job Tool App available for Windows, iOS and Android permits users to operate the scanner via smart mobile devices without connecting to a computer, for full amenity.
