Acer Switch 7 Black Edition

An example would be the Switch 7 Black Edition, which is the world’s first fanless 2-in-1 laptop that is equipped with discrete graphics, thanks to Acer’s innovative Dual LiquidLoop cooling technology. Designed for the mobile minded, the new Switch 7 Black Edition is incredibly versatile and weighs less than 1.15kg without the keyboard, featuring a sturdy brushed-aluminium body.

Acer is also introducing its first AutoStand with the Switch 7 Black Edition, which is a patented kickstand that can be auto-deployed and auto-retracted, providing single-handed operation in opening and adjusting the display. Its large 13.5-inch IPS display with 2256×1504 resolution offers a crisp and vibrant visual experience from wide viewing angles, giving more freedom for mobility.

Acer Swift 5

Meanwhile, the new Swift 5 is made for users that seek superb portability, solid performance with a touch of style to it. The chassis weighs less than 1kg and is constructed from a sophisticated selection of materials from top to bottom.

Utilizing the power of 8th Generation Intel Core processors, the Swift 5 offers an exceptionally fast and responsive experience with 8-hour 3 battery life. The best part is, it even features the interactive multi-touch Full HD IPS 2 touchscreen and narrow bezel design maximizes the viewing experience, complete with the Acer TrueHarmony that provides powerful and clear audio.

Acer Spin 5

Another noteworthy device is the lightweight and portable Spin 5 that allow users to interchange seamlessly between laptop, tablet, display and tent modes, making it a perfect platform to create and share content.

This 13-inch model weighs in at 1.5kg and is 15.9mm thin, engineered with the new 9th Generation Intel Core processors, up to 16GB of DDR4 memory, 13 hours of battery like and a discrete NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 graphics option for the 15-inch model. These features allow the Spin 5 to handle intensive creative production such as graphic design and video editing. And like the Swift 5, the Spin 5 is also equipped with Acer TrueHarmony audio system.

That’s not all.

Acer Predator Orion 9000

The highlight of the event was when the new Acer Predator Orion 9000 and Acer Chromebook 15 popped up on the huge screen. Being the latest addition to its premium Predator gaming line, the Predator Orion 9000 series gaming desktops with Windows 10 is the most powerful by far. It features the Predator X35 monitor that leverages on NVIDIA G-SYNC and Acer HDR Ultra technologies for ultra-smooth performance and stunning visuals.

Acer Predator X35

It has a black and silver spacecraft-like exterior with customisable RGB lighting along the sides of the front bezel and a massive side window panel that showcases the powerful interior. It is designed to keep electromagnetic interference (EMI) levels in check and is equipped with Liquid Cooling and Acer’s IceTunnel 2.0 to keep the temperature down while the game heats  up.

The IceTunnel 2.0 is an advanced airflow management solution that separates the system into several thermal zones with its own individual airflow tunnel to expel heat. The Huge metal mesh panels on the front and top allow for more air in and the hot air of the liquid-cooled CPU out.

What’s more, Acer is raising the bar in terms of capability to support up to 4 Radeon RX Vega cards to deliver near-photorealistic imagery. It also offers a cutting-edge Core 19 Extreme Edition 18-core processor and up to 128GB quad-channel DDR4 memory, allowing it to handle compute-intensive tasks with ease while providing exceptional performance.

Acer Chromebook 15

Meanwhile, Acer’s award-winning Chromebook 15 line is the only Chromebook in the industry with a 15.6-inch display with a new stylish aluminium design and long battery life of up to 12 straight hours.

In addition to having a large Full HD IPS display available in touch-screen and non-touch configurations, the new Acer Chromebook 15 has a Full HD display of 1920 x 1080 resolution that ensures sharp visuals.

To complement the large display, the Acer Chromebook 15 has two full-sized upward-facing speakers that support high-definition audio and deliver enhanced volume and audio range. The full-sized keyboard and large touchpad are comfortable to use and give customers greater freedom when navigating.

Furthermore, the latest dual-core Intel Celeron and quad-core Intel Pentium processors deliver great performance for apps and the web. Models in the line will be available with 32GB or 64GB of eMMC storage as well as 4GB or 8GB of RAM.

Finally, the most noticeable attribute of the new Chromebook 15 is its aluminium top cover and palm rest, giving it a stylish and modern design that is comfortable to touch and type on, which is also thinner and lighter than previous generations. It features a backlit keyboard allowing greater usability and weighs 1.72kg altogether.
