The popular battle royale game known as PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) is now available to all Malaysians. This comes after its introduction into the North American region a few days earlier and will be available on all Android and iOS devices.
Now readily available to us Malaysians as well, the PUBG Mobile will feature a similar battle royale experience that most seasoned players are accustomed to on the PC. Of course, there will be changes to make the game more suitable for the mobile, which includes a touchscreen joypad to move your character around and dedicated buttons to shoot, aim, crawl and run.
However, the game will still retain its 100 players per map limit. One thing to note is whether PUBG Mobile will be implementing the upcoming changes of the PC version into mobile. Some of these changes includes a new 4×4 map, emotes, weapons, vehicles and many more. You can read more about it here.
In terms of compatibility, PUBG Mobile recommends Android devices to have at least Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and above, as well as 2GB of RAM. For iOS devices, it requires at least iOS 9.0 or later and will be compatible with iPhone 5s and above.
Do note that you will need to connect your devices with a Wi-Fi connection because the file is simply too big to be downloaded through mobile data. To be exact, PUBG Mobile on Android is 706MB while iOS is 893MB.
