Yoodo Turns Two & Celebrates With 20 New Announcements AND A Logo Rebrand

Yoodo, Malaysia’s first truly customisable and 100% digital mobile service solidified their position as the go-to digital telco. In conjunction with their 2nd anniversary, Yoodo have unveiled 20 announcements that focused on a new brand logo as well as new product innovations, esports, active sports and promos.

Their biggest announcement of course, had to be the telco’s new brand logo- Yoodo powered by Celcom. The new look symbolizes Yoodo’s digital user experience and the Celcom’s network coverage.

“Yoodo understands the needs and wants of the modern consumer. We treat them as individuals, giving them greater freedom of choice and control.” said Chow Tuck Mun, Head of Yoodo.

“Yoodo powered by Celcom assures and empowers Yoodo users on the vast options, choices, and freedom that are available to them.”

Power Pass & Renew Anytime

Along with the new logo, they also announced Renew Anytime. This new feature makes Yoodo the only telco in Malaysia to allow users to customise their data, voice, and SMS mobile plans at any time without having to complete the full month cycle.

They also introduced their new Power Pass to go along with the Renew Anytime plan. The Power Pass is a flexible data booster that offers 100GB of data for 60 mins at RM2. Yoodo also have some new add-ons for TikTok, Viu, Call of Duty Mobile, Boost and they teased an add-on for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.

Roam Like Home & Loyalty Programmes

Ever had that uneasy feeling about your data plans when you travel? Well Yoodo have enhanced their Roam Like Home feature to include a 3-day and 7-day pass. You’ll be able to take the plan abroad, and their plans even go lower than RM5 per day. That’s pretty reasonable, if you ask me.

To add value to their loyal Yoodo users, they’ve launched Yoodo Rewards. With this, customers who purchased a total of 10 add-ons will get one free, and those who purchase 10 days worth of Roam Like Home passes will get one additional day for free.

Esports & Active Sports

Yoodo has announced that they’ll be sponsoring and organising a series of esports tournaments across 2020. The tournaments include 2020 editions of their Player Unknown’s Battleground (PUBG MOBILE) National Championships (PMNC) and the PUBG MOBILE Campus Championship (PMCC).

Yoodo is also the Official Digital Telco sponsor for the on-going ESL MY Championship 2020 – Call of Duty: Mobile Season 1, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League – Malaysia & Singapore Season 5 and a brand new national level competitive fighting game competition, the Yoodo FV Major 2020.

For conventional sports, Yoodo announced they would once again return as the Official Digital Telco for the Malaysia Premier Futsal League.
