Today, Xiaomi kicked off its annual Mi Fan Festival 2020 (MF 2020). This year’s theme is “Live smart, buy smart”, encouraging all its users to embrace a life filled with the latest innovative technologies.
This year also marks Xiaomi’s 10th Anniversary! The company was officially founded on 6 April 2010 and has achieved a great many milestones, including the world’s youngest Fortune Global 500 company and fourth-largest smartphone brand.
Xiaomi has been holding the MFF event since 2011, as a way to show their gratitude to its users for their trust and support.
In light of the current situation, Xiaomi vows to shift its focus to providing more through e-commerce platforms to reach its users.
“At this year’s Mi Fan Festival, we hope everyone will be able to enjoy our amazing products with honest prices at the comfort of their homes,” said Shou Zi Chew, President of International and CFO of Xiaomi.
From 7 April 2020 to 9 April 2020, there will be a global online sales in conjunction with MFF 2020. The three-days mega sale will be offering great deals for many of Xiaomi’s products, including both smartphones and hardware.
Not only that, its latest smartphone, the Redmi Note 9S (6GB + 128GB version) will be available at RM899 on both Lazada and Shopee as first sales.
The mid-range smartphone champion features a Qualcomm SnapdragonTM 720G chipset, a quad-camera setup with a 48MP main lens, and a whopping 5020mAh battery.
It goes without saying that Xiaomi will be having more deals on Lazada. Users can find discounts up to 35% for products like Redmi Note 8 Pro, Mi Smart Band 4, Redmi 20000mAh Power Bank, and many more!
Lazada isn’t the only platform, as Xiaomi is also putting up sales on Shopee. Some products on offer include a 10000mAh Redmi Power Bank, Mi Robot Vacuum, and Mi Air Purifier 2S!
What’s more, Xiaomi will be unveiling the Redmi Note 9S MFF 2020 Limited Edition! Also featuring a 6GB + 128GB setup, this unique model serves as a tribute to the MFF 2020. Only 2020 units exist worldwide.
The smartphone will come in a Limited Special Grey colour and an exclusive MFF 2020 logo engraved on the back.
