Entry application to public universities has been extended in view of the Movement Control Order, the extension will also apply for Teachers Training College (IPG), Matriculation College, Politekniks and other related institutes.
Higher Education Minister, Datuk Dato Noraini Ahmad issued a statement to inform on the extention dates which will be now till April 17 instead of April 7. He also advised all students to apply for the Unique ID via Bank Simpanan Nasional before April 16. The main reason for the allowance is due to many complaints by SPM and STPM student who had trouble registering during the MCO due to lack of internet access. SPM leavers who applied can expect to receive the results one June 3 said the Ministry. As for the rest and those applying for Diploma level entrance will be notified on August 18.
The Education Ministry will posting all relevant information pertaining to changes in the application dates and results on its social media pages. On top of this it will also have live session everyday from now till April 14 at 10-11am and 3-4pm where students can stay tuned and ask questions.
