Having launched just over a month ago, UberEATS rolls out an update on its app to better understand its users. One such update that should help in deciding what to eat is its ratings feature. Much like its Uber driver ratings, you can now see just how good a restaurant is with a five-star rating before ultimately deciding if that’s what you want.

While the recommendations list is already part of the app, UberEATS is delving deeper. Instead of just scrolling through a list of recommended restaurants based on your previous orders and selections, you will now be able to view on recommended dishes from said recommended restaurants as well. All recommendations will be tailored to your unique taste buds and how you use the app.

Another feature introduced into UberEATS is its ‘Favourites’ folder. Want to have the same thing every week without fail? Simply “favourite” a restaurant and it will always appear at the top of your feed.

Sadly, there have been no updates on when UberEATS will be expanding towards Selangor.
