As many of you already knows, Penang was hit by one of the worst floods in recent history. In an effort to provide some relief in the aftermath, Acer Malaysia is lending a helping hand to all victims in Penang who have been affected by the flood.

Acer will be providing free labour for inspection and repairs at the Highpoint Service Network (HSN), its authorised service centre in Bayan Baru, Penang. Customers can walk-in with any of their affected Acer devices for inspection. There will be no repair cost to the device if deemed repairable. The only cost the customer would have to put up is the replacement of parts.

However, if the device is found to be beyond saving, Acer will also be providing a special offer of 15% off on its selected models. “This helping hand in response to the Penang flood crisis is part of our concern and care for our customers. Our thoughts are with them as they go through this challenging season and we would like to reach out to them with this small gesture to help relieve their burden during this trying time,” said Chan Weng Hong, General Manager of Products, Sales and Marketing, Acer Malaysia.

Customers will have until 31 December 2017 to bring their devices in and to take up the 15% offer if needed. Here is the HSN address as listed below:
