The gauntlet has been laid and U Mobile’s Mobile Legends Campus Championship (MLCC) season 2 is in full swing. The campus tournament has just wrapped up its State qualifiers for the Central region and it was an epic affair!
Spanning Selangor and Wilayah Persekutuan, the central stop of U Mobile’s nationwide hunt for the next MLCC champion saw 64 teams from 20 campuses compete for the chance to represent their states in the Campus finals that will be held at Battle Arena, PJ in November 2020.
In the Selangor round of qualifying, over 8,000 people tuned in over two days to watch teams battle it out, with ADDMATHS on the mic as the shoutcaster. In the end, Team Rusuh from Politeknik Sultan Idris Shah went head to head with Team Gak Ada Obat from UNITEN in a pulsating final and emerged victorious, to earn a spot for the National finals.
Over in the Wilayah Persekutuan leg of the qualifiers, a whopping 36,000 people tuned in and set the stage for an epic two day event, with the one and only, IKUTO, providing commentary for the exciting match. Team Undercover My from Universiti Islam Antarabangsa Malaysia emerged victorious after a hard battle with Team Boi of Kolej Politeknik Mara KL.
Both state champions took home RM1,350 and 600 in-game diamonds, while the runners-up bagged RM650 and 420 in-game diamonds each.
