Seems like TAG Connected rumours are true. TAG Heuer posted a couple of tweets confirming the release on 14th of March. Not much is really revealed. (When do they really? Any product teasers are always heavily veiled in dark background with certain features dimly highlighted. Or has a shape outline. I digress.)
Curiously, Endgadget managed to get a glimpse of some other information. According to the Endgadget report, they saw another video teaser stating that “TAG chief Jean-Claude Biver says that women had input — don’t be surprised if you see an option for a smaller case, different colors and other features that make the wristwear more accessible.”
Thing is, the original tweet that Endgadget had linked to – the video is now removed. At least, I can’t see it. Instead, what I could see, is another video showing a production line…

In our previous report sourced through Android Central, the design will allow swappable straps and interface – letting users choose between a mechanical or digital face. Endgadget’s leaks suggest that it would come with “considerably more features, including Android Pay support, a brighter screen and GPS”. We suspect the price tag won’t sway too far from the current Connected’s USD $1, 500 (approx RM 6,700). Considering their previous iteration to be quite a popular choice, exceeding the company’s expectation, we might see it continue to be around to keep up with all the Android Wears out there.
