List of Android phones to embrace the latest operating software from Google is increasing. Sony has now added itself to the list by announcing that their Xperia smartphones models will be adopting the version 6.0, Marshmallow.
The company will make the OS available for: Xperia Z5, Xperia Z5 Compact, Xperia Z5 Premium, Xperia Z4 Tablet, Xperia Z3+, Xperia Z3, Xperia Z3 Compact, Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, Xperia Z2, Xperia Z2 Tablet, Xperia M5, Xperia C5 Ultra, Xperia M4 Aqua and Xperia C4. Users of the Japanese mobile phone can upgrade to the latest in due time when Sony announces the dates, which we think will be anytime next week.
Taiwan phone maker, HTC has also put out a notice on its website marking 20th October for a new Marshmallow device built based on the new OS, some of the notable features on the software include Now On Tap, Doze, just say “OK Google set up my device” and you can easily migrate from your older version.
More brands will be making announcement and will also see the Chinese devices upgrading to the improved Android software.
