Sony Expo 2017 open its doors on 29th April, showcasing the company’s latest and upcoming lineup of products. On top of unveiling the new BRAVIA OLED TV, and other 2017 BRAVIA models, the expo allowed consumers to get a feel of the products.
The event kicked off with an opening speech by Managing Director of Sony Malaysia, Satoru Arai; followed by a sharing session with Nick Ng, Sony Alpha Professional Photographer, who shared his insights and works on social documentary photography. The expo was open to public.
Consumers get to witness first hand the 4K HDR picture quality on the BRAVIA A1 OLED TV series paired with Sony’s EXTRA BASS wireless audio systems. There were also areas for experience with PlayStation, Audio and Digital Imaging, where fans can interact in PlaystationVR, as well as get familiar with the latest camera and personal audio lineup, including Sony Alpha, Cyber-shot cameras, and One Signature Sound.
Popular Malaysian YouTuber JinnyboyTV was also at hand to share their insights in video production and short film making. A presentation by Baron Abas, Sony Alpha Digital Imaging Professional, educating the audience on using Sony Action Cam products.
Apart from the presentations, there were some live workshops that catered to female photography enthusiasts – Alpha Girlfriends Workshop and discerning music lovers – Sound Tasting.
“Anime” communities were also invited to be a part of Sony Expo 2017 and the participants were encouraged to dress up in their unique cosplay outfits!
Consumers had the first-hand privilege of experiencing new and unreleased Sony technologies, in the mold of Xperia Touch, Sony A9 camera and home entertainment sound bars.
