Samsung Galaxy Note9 Feature: Aesthetics

They say never judge a book by its cover. But there is nothing wrong with admiring its design and aesthetics. After all, having a great design is often the first step to piquing the interests of picking up a product. And in this case, we are talking about Samsung’s latest phablet: the Samsung Galaxy Note9.

At first glance, the Galaxy Note9 isn’t a far cry from its predecessor in terms of shape. In fact,it can be hard to discern if you don’t know what you’re looking for. An easy indicator is the fingerprint sensor, which is now situated below the dual cameras. This is a testament that Samsung is listening to its customers’ feedback on making the device more comfortable to use.

The Galaxy Note9 takes its Infinity Display even further as Samsung boasts of the device being its largest. The expansive 6.4-inch QHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity Display lends a hand in creating an immersive experience for users. Its metal frame features die-cutting along the edges that gives the device a faceted aesthetic. Samsung has also hidden away the iris scanner and sensors up top to further cut down on visual disruptions.

All About Colours

For the Malaysian market, there are three colour variants available: Ocean Blue, Metallic Copper and Midnight Black.  Aside from the Midnight Black, the colourways introduced with the Galaxy Note9 addresses the consumers’ appetite for blue and copper devices respectively.

For more conservative mobile phone users, the Midnight Black is for you. Its understated sleekness makes the device a wolf in sheep’s clothing. I personally like the Metallic Copper, but it is a hard colour to capture on camera. My favourite – and certainly, the crowd’s – is the Ocean Blue, which comes with a contrasting yellow S Pen.
