With the Unpacked 2020 event set to go down next week, Samsung have taken it upon themselves to accidentally leak official photos of the Galaxy S20, and while it may well be a PR stunt to keep the series in the forefront of internet chatter, it is sadly working— Look at me, writing an article about the damn thing hahahaha..sad (╥_╥).
To the story then!
Yesterday, one of Samsung’s European websites posted marketing material for the upcoming Galaxy S20 on its webstore. The pictures, which were taken down quick (But evidently not quick enough), pretty much confirms a lot about what we already knew.
For starters, it’s essentially set in stone at this point that Samsung will be dropping the S11 moniker and going straight for S20 (because f*** arithmetic progression, right?! I’m 20 years old.. forever!!!!!). Next, we have the punch hole selfie camera on the front, and the massive camera bump on the back, both of which we’ve already seen. The leak also shows off a new case for the phone with a bunch of LED lights on the back which is again, nothing new (The S10 also had something similar).
The S20 series has actually been leaked so extensively that there really isn’t much that the company could surprise us with come the 11th of February. Here’s what we know about the phone other than what we found out with this latest leak (which is nothing, really) :
It will come in three variants- The S20, S20+ & S20 Ultra (There could possibly be a “5G” somewhere in the name)
The Ultra variant will come with a special 100X “Space Zoom”
There WILL be a 120Hz refresh rate screen but there WON’t be a headphone jack

How accurate this spec sheet is remains to be seen but regardless, the S20 Ultra looks like it’s going to be a monster of a phone. So with all of this leaks happening so close to the Unpacked event, is there really any point in tuning in anymore? Well, of course there is. Samsung are also set to launch it’s second foldable device and while it’s had its leaks as well, it’s still a real looker and it’ll be interesting to actually see the phone in action irl, ya know?
