Review: Jumping for JOI

joi-8-lite

Steady Does It
As convenient as the JOI 8 Lite is, it’s running on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, which is older and bound to have slower response compared to the current Android 6.0 Marshmallow. While users might find unlocking, opening, closing and switching between apps and swiping between windows take its toll on the OS, the drawback isn’t to worrisome as this phablet does do its job.

Middle Grounded
Although a steal for only RM499, the JOI 8 Lite is great for users who are looking for an entry-level device. For the more experienced users who would want more out of their tablet, it’s best to steer clear. However, if you’re the type who is price conscious and dont mind the package the JOI 8 Lite provides, then it is the perfect fit for you as it is still capable of providing a clean and simple experience.

Crystal Clear
What the JOI 8 Lite lacks in performance, it makes up for it with its 8-inch IPS display, which is great for browsing the web and even streaming HD videos from YouTube, Netflix and iflix to name a few. It is also small and lightweight, making it easy for you to pack it into your backpack and bringing it with you everywhere.
