realme has recently leaped into the Top 10 TWS brands in terms of shipments for Q3 2020, according to Counterpoint Research. It is a milestone for the brand as it went beyond expectations in terms of corporate, product and design respectively.
Counterpoint also emphasised on the possibility that ‘realme could repeat its smartphone success to become 2021’s dark horse among wearables’ in its announcement.
“Building on strong hearables momentum, recent entry into smartwatches and strength in online, realme could repeat its smartphone success to become 2021’s dark horse in wearables,” commented by Liz Lee, Counterpoint analyst.
realme has gained 2% of the global market share in the true wireless stereo hearables (TWS) market. It will also launch its own AIoT platform which is known as TechLife in 2021, which is just a step in realme’s strategy to foster new companies and ideas as well as partaking in co-creation and scale innovative AIoT products.
This will focus on bringing a more cohesive and integrated smart living lifestyle to the youths today that allows for greater communication and collaboration among users.
The Counterpoint’s Q3 2020 TWS Shipments also has reported that realme was another notable budget brand to place in the TWS top-10 during the third quarter.
realme will build on its strong performance in 2020 to deliver an even stronger result in 2021. It used its youth-based users to empower themselves to dream big and leap into the uncertainty with confidence and positivity. realme targets to develop its mature ecosystem to cater to Individual, Family and Travel groups respectively as the Top 5 brand in 12 different countries.
