
Aye Aye matey…Sea of Thieves has been released for global audience to play on either their X Box of Windows 10 PC. Developed by Rare and published on Microsoft Studio, the game revolves around a pirate ship with players assuming different roles on board.
Players are them set on quests, collect loot and engage in combat with other players. Sea of Thieves is a shared game world, which means groups of players will encounter each other regularly throughout their adventures. The game has a cartoonish art style and an exaggerated physics engine that allow players to perform stunts, like being shot out of ship cannons.
However, upon release the game has encountered a snag with too many players jumping on the site rendering it to have issues. Rare came out with a statement attributing the problem to scale related with over 3-4 times more players have started playing compared to in beta. So far one million have played since launch 2 days ago. There’s been a plethora of complaints including difficulty getting into the game, delayed rewards, missing items and and issues playing on XBox One X.
Nevertheless, the developers are assuring this will be fixed immedialty with new patches or updates in the coming week. The game is now available for $59.99, and you have the ability to purchase it for personal library or become a member of Xbox Game Pass and play for $9.99 a month.
