Samsung’s next entry to their Galaxy Note series, the Note 20 lineup has been extensively leaked over the course of the past few months. But now, we’ve got some new information that comes as somewhat surprising.
New information from Ross Young, Founder and CEO of Display Supply Chain Consultants who tweeted out the following tweets:

Notice how he didn’t mention the supposed Note 20 Ultra? Yeah, exactly. This hints at one of the more surprising possible outcomes for the Galaxy Note 20 series, with only two device rumoured to be in the lineup. But enough of that, let’s get into what the leaks have to say about the two devices we do know of.
Young mentions that the Galaxy Note 20+ will feature an updated 6.87″ screen with a resolution of 3096 x 1444, which comes in at a 497 PPI. The Note 20+ will also reportedly have a 19:3:9 aspect ratio, and has a 120Hz refresh rate with some form of LTPO display to utilise a “variable refresh” rate to help negate power consumption. This is applicable for both the Galaxy Note 20+ and Note 20.
The Galaxy Note 20 will reportedly house a 6.42″ display with a resolution of 2345 x 1084 pixels, with a pixel density of 404 PPI.
However, keep in mind that none of this has been confirmed by Samsung thus far, so we can’t really tell how things will play out later in the year. Hopefully as time flies, we’ll get a better look at what the Galaxy Note 20 lineup will be equipped with. At this point, it’s one of the hottest pieces of tech around, and it hasn’t even released yet. So let’s see if they live up to the hype come August.
