While other flagships and smartphones are releasing this time of year, like the OnePlus 8 series, iPhone SE 2020, Huawei P40 series, Samsung are still holding out their Galaxy Note 20 for their Unpacked event sometime in August.

But now, a new leak possibly has given us a real look at the Galaxy Note 20. First reported by SamMobile, an apparent teaser image was found on the Galaxy Store. The image featured was in the ‘$1 Spot Themes’ category, and showcases three Galaxy smartphones.

This includes the Galaxy S10+ and Galaxy S20, but also a mysterious third device sandwiched in the middle. It’s form factor and shape is reminiscent of the Galaxy Note 10, but missing the Infinity-O punch-hole cutout in the middle. Which essentially hints at the Galaxy Note 20.

The radical new form factor could mean one of two things. It could either mean that Samsung have found a way to incorporate a fully under display camera, with no gaps and the ability to blend in with the rest of the screen. Or they’ve moved it back to the left hand side of the screen, which is blocked by the S10+.

But to dissuade that fact, it would be strange for Samsung to move to an all-centered Infinity-O display with their S20 lineup, and suddenly change back to moving the camera modules to the top left corner.

What makes all this even more suspicious is another article that we ran back in March. There we saw a mysterious, notchless device, similar to the one in the teaser image in an ad for Samsung’s wind-free air conditioner. The device in the ad also features a all display screen with no notch or camera cutouts.

Could it all just be a coincidence, or is Samsung trying to subtly leak their own device to build the hype?

At this point, I’m uncertain. It could be, or it could all just be speculation based on the limited info we have on Samsung’s next flagships. Only time will tell if we’ll ever get such a device, with a truly immersive screen and under-display camera.
