Neffos X1 And X1 Max Set To Launch On January 12

After witnessing the unveiling of a ‘Statement of Progress’ made by network solutions manufacturer TP Link on their foray into the mobile devices business in September at IFA, the Neffos X1 and X1 Max smartphone is finally reaching our shore on January 12.

The leaps and bounds how Chinese based technology company’s improve on their advancement in developing considerably decent smartphones is phenomenal. Like Moore’s Law. the quality output from mainland doubles every time the next generation of product is shipped out. Just like Neffos, after the debut of C5 and C5 Max (early this year) the new X1 sees major improvements on its overall treatment. An attribution to the engineering background of the parent company, TP Link a global leader in network equipment who is also making huge strides in the Internet of Things field, has decades of  research and development capability under its belt.

Speculated to be below the RM1k category, the device does not fall short in features, including a 5″ display with 294ppi, powered by Mediatek Helio P10 Octa-core processor – Mali T860 GPU with 2 versions 3GB and 2GB RAM slated to be introduced. The 13 megapixel camera is notable, promising to be as good as premium models out there incorporating Sony lens with f/2.0 aperture and PDAF function for the rear and a 5 megapixel for the front. The X1 Max on the other hand enjoys most of the factors found on the X1 albeit bigger at 5.5″ with a larger battery capacity. As of introduction 3 months back both the models were operating on android 6.0 OS.

We will leave this bit of details at the moment while we await the impending launch, TeamPC.com did hear that there will be a surprise announcement planned for the launch, however details are still sketchy at the moment.
