More Apple Products May Drop Next Month

Apple Inc. recently launched this year’s iPhone SE and while we think it will be one of its best selling smartphones for the year, the company isn’t slowing down.

Apple is reportedly going to launch more products, namely the rumoured new AirPods product and an update to its smaller MacBook Pro.

Based off another tweet by Jon Prosser of Front Page Tech, he says the new AirPods are “ready to go” and will “probably” launch alongside the MacBook Pro sometime in May:

Prosser is no stranger to leaking information on future Apple products, correctly predicting the week iPhone SE was going to launch. Still, it’s safe to always take this information with a grain of salt, as changes can always happen down the line.

It’s not very clear either which AirPods product Prosser is referring to here, though it’s likely he’s referring to the AirPods Pro Lite model.

The AirPods X model was rumoured by Prosser to release during the September/ October window and is reportedly catered more for sports activities.

The new MacBook Pro, on the other hand, was already rumored to release next month by Prosser earlier in April, and may reportedly sport a 14″ display.

This would be in line with what renowned Apple analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo, shared in the past. He reported Apple aimed to release two new laptops with the updated scissor keyboard in the second quarter of 2020.

So far, Apple released an update to its MacBook Air, and true enough, it did have the updated scissor keyboard.

That leaves out the smaller MacBook Pro, which should launch next month if Prosser’s report is correct.

Of course, those aren’t the only products Apple aims to launch this year. There’s also its over-ear headphones and its next flagship iPhone aimed for a later release.
