Apple’s All New iPhone SE Is Basically An iPhone 11 In The Body Of An iPhone 8 & The Price Of A Xiaomi; Brilliant!

After months of rumours and speculation, Apple has finally launched the sequel to one of its most popular smartphones, the iPhone SE. The newly launched version, which many thought would take the name iPhone 9, is officially called the iPhone SE (2020) and it’s pretty much an iPhone 11 wrapped in the body of an iPhone 8.

Fans of the older Apple models with the smaller form factors have been dying for a sequel to the popular iPhone SE, which came out 4 years ago and Apple hasn’t disappointed. The iPhone SE (2020) features it’s flagship A13 Bionic, the Fastest Chip in a Smartphone, and the Best Single-Camera System in an iPhone.

Remember when iPhones came with Touch ID? As you’d expect, that makes a comeback on the SE (2020), along with the fan favourite 4.7-inch Retina HD display. I mean, come on guys.. Don’t you miss being able to use your phone with one hand effortlessly? The 6.4″ flagships of today are a struggle when it comes to proper one hand usage.

The reason why the original iPhone SE did so well is because you get flagship features at mid range prices, and the 2020 variant of the SE carries on with this tradition. On top of the flagship level processor and camera, you also get features such as fast charging, wireless charging, Wi-Fi 6 and water and dust resistance thanks to that IP67 rating.

It’s hard to imagine a brand new iPhone costing you less than RM2000, but that’s exactly what the SE brings to the table. Apple has announced that pricing for the iPhone SE (2020) will start at just RM1999 and will come in three variants, 64GB, 128GB and 256GB in black, white and (PRODUCT)RED.

The iPhone SE is available to pre-order on apple.com and the Apple Store app beginning at 5 a.m. PDT on Friday, April 17, and will be available from Apple, Apple Authorized Resellers on Friday, April 24, in the US and more than 40 other countries and regions.
