Apple iPhone SE 2 Rumoured To Be Coming In Q1 2020, Priced At Around RM1700

The iPhone 11 event may have came and went but that doesn’t mean people aren’t still speculating on Apple releases. Absent from the event last month was the fan favourite iPhone SE 2. There’s been all sorts of rumours circulating about the phone in recent months and it looks like it’s all starting to heat up.

According to a new report, notable Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who more often than not gets his predictions right, has predicted that the phone will start selling for a mere US$399. Ming, who has been dubbed the best Apple analyst on the planet, has also made several other predictions about the device prior to this, most notably that it will be powered by Apple’s latest A13 chipset, will come with 3GB of RAM and that it’ll be released in Q1 of 2020.

To top those predictions off, he has also said that the device will come in three colours, namely grey, silver and red and will be available in both 64GB and 128GB variants. In terms of how the phone actually looks, those of you who were hoping that it would look similar to the first generation iPhone SE will be disappointed to hear that it is predicted to take after the iPhone 8.

The launch of the second generation iPhone SE is a clear indicator that Apple is prioritizing unit sales, as not everyone is able to afford it’s premium prices. To be honest, the iPhone 8 form factor is just the right size and if the rumours are true, makes for a great value for money smartphone, given that it comes with Apple’s latest A13 bionic chipset.
