Managing Director of Ingram Micro, Mobility Division Malaysia, Michael Archdeacon expressed his excitement with the collaboration with Zurich Insurance Malaysia and the new plan. Also at the launch, the President of General Insurance for Zurich Insurance Malaysia explained that the massive number of mobile phone users in the country, which continues to increase, is a major factor in the decision to create this protection plan. He says, “Zurich readily recognizes the need to provide protection for mobile devices which is now considered the most omnipresent communication tool in staying connected with family, friends even business associates. We’re confident that Ingram Micro Cover Plus can grow to become a significant necessity to smart phone users and essentially the perfect cover for it.”

For just RM0.49 per day, this new plan offers repair service, replacement for your devices for up to RM3,500, unlimited claims and a dedicated toll-free hotline. The Ingram Micro Cover Plus – Essential has been available since 1 December 2014 at selected Ingram Micro dealers within Klang Valley and Ingram Micro intends to expand area coverage in the coming months.
