ASUS’s faces the future with it’s Zenwatch face design contest.

Have you always wanted to design a watch but the Swiss watchmakers don’t seem to be hiring? Well fret no more as ASUS wants you to help them design their new Zenwatch…sorta. ASUS has announced the “Face The Future”design contest, where designers are able to create their own watch face design for ASUS’s own ZenWatch.

Judging for the Face the Future contest will be performed by ASUS Design Center, the multi-disciplinary and award-winning ASUS design team. ASUS Design Center judges will select their favorite designs in categories such as Gold Medal, Best in Beauty, Best in Creativity, Best Practical Design, Best Student Design Award, and Fan Favorite. Winners of the categories will win an ASUS ZenWatch of their own. Aside from the watch, all participants will have the chance for their design to be included as one of the standard watch faces on ASUS ZenWatch and will also receive an ASUS Certificate to recognize their accomplishment.

To participate in the contest, designers can download a watch design template from the “Face the Future” contest website here. From January 10th to February 10th, 2015, participants can upload their final designs to the site. Starting February 10th, designers and the general public can visit the site to see and vote via Facebook for their favorite designs. Voters will be entered in a separate draw for several chances to win their own ASUS ZenWatch.
