In case you missed it, Google released a special looking intelligent garden assistant called Google Gnome on April 1 (hint,hint). The idea is for an assistant that can be in the backyard and give you important weather and wind reports while you water your garden.

Google says the Gnome can tell you if your bird seeds are running low, what animal is making that squeaking noise or you can ask what type of leaf you are holding. As an added bonus, the little outdoor unit is even fitted with a proprietary high intensity laser to trim hedges to any shape you want.
