Rumour mill for the upcoming release of Samsung’s Galaxy S7 is on full steam, leaks are bountiful even before the launch at MWC on 21st February. Latest picture leak from ReviewDao.Vn shows the curved glass back of the S7 confirming prior leaks on ways Samsung trying smooth out the back camera with the shell of the phone, it could also point out on the camera rumour of swapping the megapixel sensor from 16 on the S6 to a 12 on the S7.

Notable leak expert Evan Blass has spoil secrecy for the smartphone manufacturer before with his spot on revelation on last years models, this time around he mentioned about the curved back to house a larger battery and could see a return of the micro SD which was missing on the S6. Storage was a contention by users last year and omitting it from the S6 was not well received from customers, Samsung sensed the need and immediately introduced them in the A series and admitted why the storage is important for users, this could be a hint the return of extended memory slots in the new models.

Last year the company underestimated on the Galaxy Edge and could not keep up with demand leaving many buyers frustrated for the long wait. Once bitten twice shy, this year they will ramp up production for the all new Galaxy S7 Edge and is rumoured to have better battery power and micro SD slot. Boosting sales for both models and keeping Apple at bay, Samsung could opt to price the phones slightly lower than last year, looking at the hints on features like 3D touch and larger finger scan button these will not suffice for a price hike but a reduced price point could be a winner instead.

However, Samsung has mastered the design philosophy and is better in presenting overall package for a smartphone compared to Apple. Based on the leaked images the Galaxy S7 hasn’t fallen far from the tree, the sheen black, upgraded magnesium alloy frame, water resistance, all glass device could just be the phone for 2016.
