Crowdfunding platforms such as Indiegogo and Kickstarter are a great place to find the weirdest sh** on the internet. I mean just take a look at the homepage and you’ll already know what I mean. That being said, there’s a particular category that’s filled with wonder, and that’s phone cases.

From cases that hold your dongles for you to a case that turns your phone.. into two phones! Yup, it’s a wild world out there. That being said, with vaping being the “in” thing now, a company has developed a phone case that charges your Juul for you.

Duo Inc has created a case where the back has a dedicated spot where you can store your Juul e-cigarette, and it also claims to be able to charge the device (and your phone) with its built-in 3,000mAh battery. I don’t know about you, but displaying to the world just how much I value vaping in my life doesn’t really sound all that appealing to me.

Personally, I don’t vape and if anything, seeing this case just made the distance between myself and the idea of vaping a whole lot bigger. Why would anyone want to display the extent of their nicotine addiction to the world? It’s kind of funny cuz the promotional material for the case comes gems such as “Why put life on pause to charge?” and “How can you enjoy party mode if your pod is out of juice?”

The copy is laughable but that’s not the best part. Get this, the duo case is 1.5cm thick, essentially doubling the thickness of your phone and will cost you a cool US$62, and that’s early bird pricing. It’s bad enough that vaping makes you look stupid, but to invest 62 dollars on a thick ass case just so you can charge both your phone and vape? You can almost hear the vapers around the world getting all hot and bothered.
