The 5G race is very much in full swing but let’s not get ahead of ourselves here. We’ve yet to even optimize our 4G network, we’re not quite sure why everyone’s talking about 5G. Regardless, 5G releases are starting to pop up here and there and we understand why everyone’s excited. The increase in speed it promises is amazing
That being said, in Malaysia, for all the flagship launches that have happened, we’ve yet to see a 5G compatible device arrive on our shores. Seeing as we don’t actually have our 5G infrastructure up and ready yet, that’s fine. In spite of that, it looks like we’ll be getting our first 5G model next week.
Vivo, always looking to be the first at everything is all set to bring their Nex 3 smartphone down to our shores next week and it will become the first 5G headset to arrive in the country when it launches next Thursday, 17th of October 2019.
The phone is a looker as it will come with Vivo’s waterfall concept screen that spills over the sides of the phone. Similar to the Huawei Mate 30 Pro, the phone will also have touch buttons instead of physical ones for volume control. To learn more about the Nex 3, click HERE.
