New subscribers to Hotlink prepaid plan and purchase a minimum daily, weekly or monthly pass can now be entitled to 999GB of Facebook use data.

The special promotion fro Maxis is open to only new users who join the Hotlink Fast and Super plan till end of December 2017. Upon signing up they will be able to use Facebook nearly limitlessly until 31 December 2018. There are more than 18 million Malaysians currently on the popular social network spending time browsing content or streaming video as a social pass time. Maxis’ is looking to recapture the segment it has lost over the year with this new offer. It also comes at a time where prepaid customers are highly sensitive to amount of free data telco’s offer, the plan being introduced to entice new customers in not new as many operators have already begun to give free data usage for social apps.
