Gigabyte recently showed off their latest laptop, Aero 15.
Powered by 7th gen Intel Core i7-7700HQ, it is fitted with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 GDDR5 6GB graphics, as well as ultra-fast DDR4 RAM with PCIe M.2. Weighing 2.1 kg at 1.9cm thick, the laptop features a thin bezel at only 5mm.
Housed in an aluminium chassis, it is fitted with RGB backlit keyboard and comes in 3 colours – orange, green and black.
It has a 15.6″ HD 1,920×1080 or UHD 3,840×2,160 display that is X-Rite Pantone certified. This means the Aero 15’s display can reproduce true-to-life Pantone colours. Pantone’s colour matching is a standardised system that means that specific Pantone colours will match, no matter where they’re printed. The Pantone certification on the Aero 15 means that it can also reproduce those colours on a monitor. Designers rejoice!
According to CNET, the Aero 15 will be available in May for USD $1,899 (approx. RM 8250). There’s also a UHD 4K model coming in Q3, pricing to be announced.
