YouTube is doing a revamp of their desktop design, aiming to highlight your favourite videos and creators while making YouTube easier and more fun to use.
While the update hasn’t rolled out yet, YouTube is letting you preview and give feedback on what you like or not.
YouTube highlighted their new design noted to keep it simple, consistent and beautiful. The new layout is designed to put more focus on the content, and will be translated to the mobile app as well on later dates.

The site design is built on a new, faster framework named Polymer, which enables quicker feature development from here on out. With Polymer, YouTube is also rolling out the dark theme to cut down on glare while watching videos.
If you want to try out YouTube’s latest look, you can opt-in to preview the new design at youtube.com/new. You can return to the current design by selecting “Restore classic YouTube” from the Account Menu. Any feedback or comments can be sent to YouTube via the Account Menu.
