With the 45 days of federally recommended social distancing ending last Thursday, it looks like the Trump administration can go all-in in the reopening of America. Despite warnings from health professionals, the president was in Camp David over the weekend as he left the confinement of the White House.

In spite of the fact that the US has seen 1,179,454 coronavirus cases and 68,179 deaths, the president still has plans to travel the country. As you would expect, he took to Twitter to let the world know his thought, but with it being Sunday and all, he was a little more traditional in his tone.. like straight out of the bible traditional.

In yet another one of his now famous bizarre tweet storms, the president took us back to biblical times by referring to the coronavirus as “a great and powerful Plague”. The tweet went on about how great America’s response has been, continuing “But America rose from this death and destruction, always remembering its many lost souls, and the lost souls all over the World, and became greater than ever before!”

But that’s not how his tweet storm began! The president began his Sunday morning by tweeting his approval rating, which showed that he had 49 percent of support among voters in a Gallup poll conducted in late April.

Trump’s handling of the coronavirus has been questionable at best, but not if you ask him.

In spite of the fact that he inadvertently caused the death of an American by endorsing a drug that’s yet to be FDA approved, and caused emergency hotlines to blow up with calls after he suggested ingesting disinfectant, the president is still under the delusion that he’s doing a neat job in handling the crisis.

With the elections in November and Trump finally able to travel the country, his attention on his re-election campaign is gathering more steam, and you can be rest assured the Joe Biden jibes will soon start becoming more frequent. Can’t wait!
