Dell Precision Entry-Level Workstations Launch in Malaysia Soon

If you’re looking for an affordable workstation, Dell has you covered. New entry-level Precision 3000 workstations are coming to Malaysia in August. These workstations offer major horsepower, and should help in data and graphic intensive fields such as engineering design, science, and mathematics.

The following entry-level Precision workstations will be available in Malaysia by the end of August:

Dell Precision 3430 Small Form Factor Tower (US$649/RM2,633)

The new Dell Precision 3430 Small Form Factor Tower offers many of the same benefits as the Precision 3630 but in an smaller form factor and up to 55W of graphics support. Customers can select between the AMD Radeon Pro WX 4100 or the NVIDIA Quadro P1000.  It’s also expandable with up to 6TB of storage with RAID support.

Dell Precision 3630 Tower (US$749/RM3,039)

The 3630 Tower features a range of easy-to-reach ports that make it possible to connect to external data sources, storage devices and more. Furthermore, Dell also offer an optional Smart Card (CAC/PIV) reader for easier data management. Inside, the model features 8th Generation Intel Core i7-8700K and Intel Xeon E chips with faster memory speeds up to 2666MHz 64GB. It also offers up to 225W of NVIDIA Quadro and AMD Radeon Pro graphics support.

Dell Precision 3930 Rack (US$899/RM3,648)

The company is now launching a more compact 1U rack workstation. The new Precision 3930 Rack features six-core Intel Xeon E processors from the new E-2100 family, or can be configured with eighth-gen Intel Core i3/i5/i7 chips. Graphics options include a range of AMD and NVIDIA cards, up to the NVIDIA Quadro P6000. The rack also offers up to 64GB of DDR4 memory and up to 24TB of storage, and comes with three PCIe slots.

Dell Precision 5820 Tower (US$1119/RM4,540)

Dell is also rolling out a significant update to its Precision 5820 Tower. While the tower’s form factor is remaining the same, the Precision 5820 workstation will get new Intel Core X-series processors as an option.
